The Role

This Operations Manager role will be focused on defining and improving cross-functional operations throughout Doorstead. As an Operations Manager, you’ll strategize, manage, and develop your team in diagnosing problems and improving process execution. You’ll be accountable for defining and implementing solutions to build a world-class tech-ops property management platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong tech-ops background, a passion for real estate, strong organizational skills, process-oriented thinking, and a desire to join a fast-paced, high-growth startup.

Responsibilities Include

  • Creating processes & playbooks for property management
  • Testing & launching new projects or features
  • Setting KPIs & developing a plan to improve metrics over time
  • Cross-functional & stakeholder management
  • Identifying, prioritizing & executing highest impact projects
  • Mentoring & developing a team of Operations Coordinators


  • 3-5 years of operations experience, ideally at a platform technology company.
  • Strong analytical & project management skills. You can launch a process and immediately track its success.
  • Data driven & customer obsessed. You're the voice of the customer and understand how to use data to improve the customer experience.
  • Growth mindset. You understand funnel conversion and how small improvements can have outsized impacts.
